Do I need to bring anything with me to a session? How should I prepare beforehand?
All you’ll really need is your own self in warm, comfortable clothing and a mask. However, since the bugs may be biting still, you may also need some bug spray. I will have some on hand but you might not prefer to use it if you’re au naturel. (The spray I have is odorless). Bottled water or a thermos of hot tea is always a good idea, too. However, keep in mind there are no public restrooms available at the park.
What can I expect from a session with you? I’ve never done this before.
We’ll talk briefly in the beginning to see how you’re doing and if there’s anything specific you’d like to focus on during your session. Then I’ll guide you through a short art exercise, and afterwards – energy work! The reiki portion of the session can be done sitting or lying down on a blanket in the grass. It’s a bit experimental with all of nature’s wonders, but lying directly on the earth is naturally grounding and super beneficial.
What if I’m uncomfortable or unable to sit or lie on the ground?
Pillows will be on hand but we can totally do the session on a park bench OR I can provide a portable chair, as long as I know it’s needed beforehand. If you feel more comfortable bringing your own lawn chair, just let me know.
And if the weather doesn’t cooperate?
I’ll be in touch with you the day before our session to check the weather and confirm. If we need to reschedule, we’ll do that.
Are masks required?
Yeah… I’ll keep it simple and go with “safety first” on this one. By the way, I am triply vaxxed! 🙂
For how long will you offer these sessions?
It depends on how much interest there is and for how long the weather stays pleasant. I’ll leave this up to Mother Nature!
Do you offer sliding scale sessions?
Yes, we can work something out if needed. I don’t want to exclude anyone!
